Data Collected

Bump Buddy AI collects the following data for the purpose of providing personalised pregnancy, postpartum, and wellbeing support:

• Name & Email — for your account and subscription management
• Health Data — pregnancy stage, due date, mood logs, symptoms, wellness logs, journal entries
• AI Conversations — your chats with Gidget (used solely to provide your personalised companion experience)
• Usage Data — app interaction data to improve the experience

❌ We do NOT collect: Location data, financial data (handled entirely by Stripe), device identifiers, or personal contacts.

Data Shared

Your data is NEVER shared with third parties. Limited data is processed by:

• Google Gemini — processes your questions to generate Gidget's AI responses (no training on your data)
• Stripe — handles payments securely (we never see your card details)
• Base44 (Australia) — encrypted hosting and database

✅ NEVER sold to third parties. NEVER shared for advertising. NEVER used for marketing.

Data Encryption & Storage

• Encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest
• Stored on secure Australian servers (Base44, Brisbane, QLD)
• Compliant with Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) & APPs

Data Deletion

Delete your full account, including ALL data, anytime:

• Go to Settings → Delete My Account
• This permanently removes all your data — profiles, logs, chats, journal entries, everything
• Data is not recoverable after deletion
• Contact us at mybumpbuddyai@gmail.com for data export requests

Permissions

Microphone:

Microphone access is used only for Gidget's voice feature so you can speak to her hands-free. Audio is never stored or shared.

Notifications:

Notifications are used for your daily Gidget check-in, milestone celebrations, and appointment reminders only.

Location Data

❌ Not collected. We use your timezone setting only to personalise timing of check-ins and reminders — no GPS or precise location tracking.

Financial Data

❌ Not stored by us. All payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We store only your subscription plan and status. We never see or store your credit card details.

Content Rating

This app is rated 12+ (Health & Fitness category). The app contains health and wellness content related to pregnancy, postpartum, and fertility. No graphic birth imagery is shown by default — any birth-related videos require explicit user consent. All community content is AI-moderated by Gidget.
