1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using My Bump Buddy AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service.

2. Description of Service

My Bump Buddy AI is an AI-powered pregnancy and postpartum companion application featuring Gidget, your AI companion. The app provides:

• Conversational AI emotional support and guidance through Gidget
• Health tracking tools (mood logs, symptoms, journals, kick counter)
• Personalized recommendations (nutrition, exercise, content)
• Educational resources and community features
• Pregnancy organizer tools (appointment tracker, hospital bag checklist, birth plan builder)
• Partner mode — weekly updates and guidance for your support person
• Personalized weekly pregnancy journey with baby development, body changes, and emotional check-ins

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use My Bump Buddy AI. Users aged 13–17 may use the app with explicit parental or guardian consent. By using the service, you represent that you meet the applicable age requirement.

5. Account & Subscription

Free Trial:

• 14-day free trial with full access to all features
• No credit card required for trial
• You must subscribe to continue after trial ends

Paid Subscriptions:

• Monthly: $19.99 AUD/month
• 6 Months: $99 AUD (save ~17%)
• Yearly: $149 AUD/year (save ~38%)
• Billing processed securely through Stripe
• Auto-renews unless cancelled before the renewal date

Cancellation & Refunds:

• 14-day free trial — cancel anytime during trial with no charge
• After trial ends, payment is processed. No refunds are offered for partial unused subscription periods
• Cancel anytime from your Apple App Store / Google Play Store account settings
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal date
• Data is deleted immediately upon account deletion

6. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Use the service for illegal purposes
• Share false or misleading health information in public forums
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise the service
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated tools (bots) to access the service

7. AI & Content Accuracy

My Bump Buddy AI uses third-party AI services (Google Gemini) to power Gidget's responses. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information provided by Gidget or the app. You use all content at your own risk.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of My Bump Buddy AI (excluding user-generated content) are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

9. User Data & Privacy

Your use of My Bump Buddy AI is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and process sensitive health data as described in the Privacy Policy. By using My Bump Buddy AI, you consent to such processing.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, illegal activity, or misuse of the service. You may delete your account at any time from Profile settings.

11. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

SERVICE PROVIDED "AS IS": My Bump Buddy AI is provided without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

NO LIABILITY: To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of My Bump Buddy AI.

MAXIMUM LIABILITY: Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or My Bump Buddy AI shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless My Bump Buddy AI and its creators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of another party.

13. Governing Law — Australia

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the Commonwealth of Australia. By using My Bump Buddy AI, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Queensland, Australia. My Bump Buddy AI complies with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Consumer Law, and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of My Bump Buddy AI after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
